ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Anyone in an emergency situation, self-isolating/shielding/in need who cannot otherwise either afford or access food or who is stranded due to flooding or other adverse weather
  • (NB – if it’s possible to deliver to someone in need please contact us direct for access to the FoodBank’s own stocks – see below)
  • Release of the boxes must be authorised through Mrs Train above, as we need to trace them
  • Any unused to be returned in Spring, we will contact you.

OTHER AVENUES OF HELP – PLEASE DO ASK!

• For those in distress or hardship (or self-isolating due to cancer treatment etc.) and who are struggling financially, please ask them to contact the food bank direct.
• Food is available direct from the foodbank if the parish can collect and deliver – please contact Driffieldwoldsfoodbank@gmail.com.
• Some deliveries may be possible if the parish are unable to help

CONTENTS OF THE BOXES – KEEP DRY AND AWAY FROM VERMIN

• Tinned meat, fish, fruit, vegetables & soup
• Packets of pasta, rice and porridge oats
• Tea or coffee, UHT milk
• NB: Best Before dates are written on the boxes
