    East Riding of Yorkshire intends to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Out Gates, Lowthorpe 400m south from Outgates Farm to approx. 100m due south commencing on 24th March 2025 at 08:00 hrs for the purpose of digging trial holes prior to bell mouth construction for the EGL2 power scheme.   • Temporary Closure of Level Crossing
    The Station Road Level Crossing in Lowthorpe will be closed from 23:00 on 6th June to 05:30 7th June for the purpose of conducting an Annual Level Crossing Test. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be as shown in the map below.
  • Surface Dressing of Roads
    The EYRC are shortly to start their annual surface dressing programme for 2024. The work involves the application of hot bitumen onto an existing road followed by a layer of stone chippings that are rolled in.
